Dr. Holguin’s passion for dentistry began in her borderland. She received her Dental Degree from the University of Ciudad Juarez, where an immense commitment to this field guided her to complete her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico.
Her extensive experience is proven through the dental organizations she is involved in, such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, and the American Cleft Lip and Palate Association.
Dr. Holguin also serves as an active Board Member of the El Paso District Dental Society, El Paso Cleft Lip and Palate team (the only ACPA Certified Cleft team in West Texas), American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (TAPD), and most notably, with the American Laser Study Club.
She has an organic love for her patients, leading her to speak nationally and internationally as a Director of Cleft Lip Deformities and Nasoalveolar Molding Symposiums. These accolades have placed her as the only provider for NAM in West Texas and New Mexico region.
Dr. Holguin’s local business approach comes from a clear understanding that collaboration is essential to success. As a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, she takes pride in her partnerships with Star Kids Pediatric Dentistry, its extension to Star Babies Tongue & Lip Tie Center, and as Division Chief of Pediatric Hospital Dentistry with El Paso Children's Hospital.
Her commitment to an economic drive and women empowerment has led Dr. Holguin to launch a Licensed Pediatric Dental Assistants School to prepare proficient and skilled students for entry-level jobs in the dental assisting field. She looks forward to providing many years of quality pediatric dental care to children in our region with this passion and honor.
El Paso is Dr. Holguin’s home, where she is proud to raise her three children in our community. Her success in her practice and life comes from the support of her family, husband, parents, and children.
