Dr. Edgar Perales graduated from the University of Ciudad Juarez (UACJ), where he received his dental degree. Upon completing his studies, he worked as a faculty member for the dental assisting program at El Paso Community College. During his tenure at EPCC, Dr. Perales realized his passion for working with children, which led him to further his education in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico. While completing his education in Pediatric Dentistry, he joined forces with a missionary group where he helped serve underprivileged communities in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Perales has an immense commitment to this industry. He is involved in many dental organizations, such as The American Dental Society, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The Texas Dental Association, The El Paso District Dental Society, and the American Laser Study Club.
In his spare time, he enjoys going to the movies, reading about technology and science topics, and leveraging dental students by educating them in many aspects of the dental field. As a proud borderland native, his civic engagement and passion for pediatric dentistry will continue to leave a strong legacy. Dr. Perales knows his success comes with support from his wife, family, and colleagues. With this team effort, he is committed to providing high-quality dental care to the El Paso community and surrounding areas.
